Story

Neelakanta (Prakash Raj) is a powerful man in his village who doesn’t believe in love marriages. He has two daughters. His elder daughter Subbalakshmi (Poonam Bajwa) elopes with a guy called Babu from a lower class on the night of her arranged marriage. Neelakanta men kidnap all the friends of Babu. Krishna (Allu Arjun) – a happy go lucky guy from Hyderabad – is one among them. Krishna likes a girl called Meena (Sheila) who happens to be the younger daughter of Neelakanta. The rest of the story is all about whether Krishna elopes with Meena or convinces Neelakanta to marry her.

Artists Performance

Allu Arjun:

Allu Arjun is pretty excellent in the first half as the characterization in the first half is vibrant and needs loads of energy. He carried the entire first half on his shoulders. His steps in 'elagelaga' song are really cool. He excelled in the emotional scenes in the second half.

Others:
Sheila is average in the film. A better looking girl would have added value to the film. Her character is also poorly etched. The comedy by friends gang is good, especially that of Sunil. Prakash Raj is good as the possessive father of girls. Sahaja Nati Jayasudha is pretty good as usual in the limited role given to her as the lovely mother of hero. Poonam Bajwa is adequate. Subbaraju is good.

Story - screenplay - direction:

The basic story line is an interesting one. The way director penned screenplay in the first half is good. The interval block is nice. But it is extremely difficult to write screenplay for the second half and director seems to have faltered in the second half. There is ambiguity and a bit of confusion towards the climax and director settled for a tweaked version of DDLJ climax. Direction of the film is good in the first half. But he could not effectively translate the emotions on the screen in the second half. Bhaskar should have worked more on the characterizations. There is no individuality to the character of heroine as she behaves just the way hero wants her to. The characterization of Prakash Raj character is bit confusing in the second half.

Music:

Music by Mani Sharma is good. Mani Sharma gave Hollywood texture to the background music (especially the instruments used). Picturization of the songs is pretty good. Allu Arjun's costumes would have been taken care of in 'parugulu teeyake pasidaana' song though the song is supposed to be whacky. The steps Allu Arjun did for 'elagelaga' are excellent.

Other departments:

There is not much scope for witty dialogues in the film. But BVS Ravi managed to tickle your funny bones in the first half. Some of the dialogues are natural. Cinematography by Vijay K Chakravarthy is good. The graphics work done to the film should have been better. Artwork by Anand Sai is appropriate. Editing is adequate. Production values by Dil Raju are excellent.

Analysis:

First half is good and entertaining with nice ambiance. The movie's tempo goes down as soon as the gang shifts to Hyderabad in the second half. The climax of the film appears little hesitant and ambiguous. The plus points of the film are energetic performance by Allu Arjun and well made first half. On the flip side, the emotions in the second half don't work and the movie lacks soul. We have to wait and see how this film fares at box office.

Story:
Vamsi (Gopichand) falls in love with Bujji (Bhavana) at the first sight. He feigns to be a CBI officer in order to get to know more about her. She also falls in love with him. A bad guy (Ajay) teases her and Vamsi insults him which results into an unforeseeable situation. The rest of the story is all about how Vamsi takes revenge on the band of baddies.
Artists Performance:
Gopichand: Gopichand is growing by leaps and bounds from film to film. He is excellent in the title role. He has such a supple body and it is helping him tremendously in dances. He is also cool at romantic episodes and family scenes. He excelled in fights department which is his core area.

Bhavana: Bhavana is very good in this film. She has what it takes to be a big heroine in Telugu film industry. The dubbing by Savita Reddy suited her very well. She looks good both in traditional and modern dresses. She can emote cute feelings and it is going to be an asset for her.

Others: Rajiv kanakala is impressive. Ajay and Asish Vidyardhi are good. Sunil’s comedy is alright. Raghubabu steals the show again though he has done those kinds of roles in many films. Sayaji Shinde did the role of sincere cop.

Technical Departments:
Story - screenplay - direction: Story is a typical love story with an angle of schizophrenia attached to it. The entire film is narrated in the spaced flashback format. The way director integrated the current story with the flashback is interesting. Direction of the film is good as for as main story and action sequences are concerned. But he should have selected a better premise for love thread between the lead pair. Hero feigning as CBI officer and heroine believing it blindly does not look convincing at all. How ever, the ‘neralu ghoralu’ spoof is excellent and had everybody in splits.
Other departments: Music by Mani Sharma is good. The melodies ‘Cheppalanundi’ and ‘Arere Emadi’ are pretty good. Background music is decent. Cinematography by Sarvesh Murari is an asset. Fights are choreographed very well. Production values from Eetaram movies are good.

Analysis: First half of the film is decent. Second half is a bit slow. What made difference to an ordinary love and revenge story is the spaced flashback narration and schizophrenia aspect. The rape followed by killing of heroine might not go well with the masses. The plus point of the film are performances of the lead pair and action episodes. On the flip side, the second half and climax should have been done better. Pokuri Babu Rao who is known as a socially responsible producer seem to have left the message part out to make this commercial film. On a whole, Ontari is a film that has all ingredients to become a commercial potboiler. The range would depend on how masses embrace schizophrenia concept.

The files are also reorganized in an intelligent way so that Windows and frequently used programs or games will launch substantially faster. Finally, the free space on your disks is consolidated to prevent new fragments from being created for as long as possible. This comprehensive optimization may take a while but is worth it - just give it a try!

- Improved TuneUp 1-Click Maintenance
TuneUp 1-Click Maintenance in TuneUp Utilities 2008 allows you to perform even more maintenance functions on your system with a single click of the mouse. You can also run this important function directly from the Start Center. Additional information about TuneUp 1-Click Maintenance is also shown there. In the new software version, defragmentation of your hard disks is now included in TuneUp 1-Click Maintenance. While this is being done in the background, you can minimize TuneUp 1-Click Maintenance and continue working with your computer without any problems.

- New Start Center - even easier to use
The TuneUp Utilities Start Center has been completely redesigned to make it more visually appealing and modern. But that's not all. The new software version now lets users navigate to program modules much more quickly. The completely revised navigation system in the TuneUp Utilities 2008 Start Center has been made even more intuitive. The left side of the window now shows potential changes that can be made. There are now six categories to choose from: Increase performance, Free up disk space, Maintain Windows, Solve problems, Customize Windows and Additional tools. After a category has been selected, the names of the corresponding modules will be displayed on the right side of the window.
The latest version of the software now includes links to specific functions within the modules. The program also displays links to related modules along the bottom edge of every category page ("See also").

- New area: "Free up disk space"
Even the largest hard disk fills up at some point. With today's Internet connections and the constantly growing range of downloads, this happens more quickly than most users would like it to. That's why TuneUp Utilities 2008 now offers even more features to find and delete unnecessary files.
In the Free up disk space area of the Start Center, TuneUp Utilities 2008 now gives you an overview of the amount of space that can be saved on each system drive. This function replaces and expands upon the "TuneUp DiskCleaner" module, which was used in earlier versions of TuneUp Utilities. In addition to the file types that were identified by the older program versions, the program now finds error reporting files, thumbnail files (Windows, ACDSee and Google Picasa formats), restore points, Windows Update backups and the Google Earth cache. The "Windows functions" category, also new, can help you to quickly free up gigabytes of additional disk space.

- New module: "TuneUp Repair Wizard"
The TuneUp Repair Wizard can be opened directly from the Start Center in the new category Solve problems. This recognizes common computer or display problems and can quickly resolve them.
